Microsoft Visual Studio: Netflix.com

Hi,

I'm lost on how to fix this.

I'm a avid movie guy. I love my movies. I'm a member of Netflix.com. I've recently upgraded to IE7. I can't get the Netflix page to fully load. I E-mailed Netflix, they said it's IE7 problem. I E-mailed Microsoft, they listed suggestions that basiclly say I have to pay per hour for help. I don't get it. Shouldn't this be a simply solution?

I'm not very good with computers. This site is the most complicated site I ever been on. Trying to find a way to solve my issue while using this site is impossible. I looked on this message board and found the Netflix issue mention, but not resolved. Why?

Please, if anybody can help a simple man find his way back to his movie site I would be so grateful. Simple lingo would be also greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Bob

Hi Bob,

Don't feel bad, I love my movies too and yes, I also get confused from time to time here myself! For your guide, this MSDN Forum is for developers who want to link their code, notes and comments into Visual Studio's Help system. So, let's try to get you to the right place to post your IE7 question.

Below is the address to a Microsoft website that accepts questions about IE7:

http://groups.msn.com/InternetExplorerForum

Give it a look and sign up, then post your question. Many Microsoft specialists keep an eye on this website and will help answer your questions about IE7. It doesn't cost anything, so don't worry about that at all.

Also, when you write your question, try to give the experts there a really good idea of what you're experiencing. The more you give them, the quicker they'll be able to identify the cause of the problem and then offer a solution to you. For example:

  • Tell them the operating system (WinXP Professional or Home or Win 2000 Professional or Home) that runs your computer
  • Tell them if you have downloaded any Service Packs and Security Fixes from Windows Update or Microsoft Update
  • Tell them what other software you also have on your computer that might be affecting IE7.

I hope this speeds up viewing your favorite movies on IE7.

Kind regards,

Frank
